So who should we pay respect to ? Indians are bragging about Mother earth and Vande Mataram. Is that evident in real life in India?
We humans should respect Vande Mataram every day, 24/7. So the question is who is Mother Earth. Who has made Mother earth. Have you thought about it. Do you think. Or is it simply a case of blind leading the blind.
Vande Mataram means our love and respect for Mother Earth. That is good and important. Question is how many people respect Mother Earth in India. How many people in India know who is Mother Earth. I see Indians spitting everywhere in the streets of India with their pan and masala. Indian men are openly urinating everywhere. Indians are using open toilets everywhere. Look at the mass left behind after any festivals. They do everything to pollute Mother Earth and then have the obesity to talk about Vande Mataram. Is this a sign of respect for Mother Earth?

Why is there so much corruption in India?
